Testimonial 1
"The video really was a great call to action. And encouraged donors, and put a little pressure off our emcee to share the story. It was an unprecedented amount that we raised, we’ve never gotten to six figures in our fund-a-need program before.” Kelsey Gibbs, Former Development Director, Wolf River Conservancy
Testimonial 2
“We are seeing a 25% increase in the number of organ donors...we’re constantly getting feedback from the community saying ‘I’ve seen the video. I was very touched by the video. And, you know, it sparked me to have a conversation with my family and friends about it.” Kim Van Frank, Executive Director, Midsouth Transplant
Testimonial 3
“What I like about Forever Ready Productions is first of all you’re good. You’re a great storyteller, you know what we say and somehow you translate that into what we want...But as an Executive Director what I like is you’re quick, you turn things around in a remarkably fast way, and I think you guys deliver a really good product, really quickly at a very reasonable cost.” Mike Allen, Executive Director, Memphis Botanic Garden

Speaker's Bureau Information

Speaker Bio
Lauren Ready is a 5-time Emmy award-winning storyteller, keynote speaker, and the Principal Storyteller of Forever Ready Productions, a renowned video production company with offices in Memphis, Chicago, and Kansas City. Under her leadership, Forever Ready Productions crafts mission-driven videos that have empowered nonprofits and businesses to realize and amplify their collective purpose and impact, helping to raise over $16 million for nonprofit causes.

Lauren's journey in storytelling began at just 17 as a production assistant at local ABC affiliate in Cedar Rapids, IA. Over the next decade, she honed her skills as a video journalist, covering national and local breaking news across Iowa, Nebraska, and Memphis. Her extensive experience in journalism has also taught her how to ask powerful, probing questions that uncover untold stories, bringing depth and authenticity to her work.

In 2016, she transitioned from TV news to entrepreneurship, taking over Forever Ready Productions full time (a company she founded in 2014). Her exceptional work has garnered numerous accolades, including the Small Business of the Year Award from the Memphis Business Journal.

In addition to her five regional Emmys, Lauren's film "What We Will Never Know," which delves into the story of a teen who falsely confessed to murder, earned both the Indie Memphis Hometowner Documentary Shorts Jury and Audience Choice awards in 2022. This marked her fifth Indie Memphis trophy, cementing her status as one of the most decorated filmmakers in the festival's history. The film also received the 'Best Social Justice Short Doc' award from the Lane Doc Film Festival in 2022.

Lauren’s accolades extend beyond filmmaking. In 2019, she was honored as one of Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40, recognizing her significant contributions to the industry and the community.

Based in Memphis with her husband Scott and their son Max, Lauren is a certified drone pilot—proudly among the less than 7% of U.S. certified drone pilots who are women. She is also an avid rock climber and never forgets to pack her camera for every family adventure.
