Speaker's Bureau Information

Speaker Bio
Lauren is an Emmy award-winning storyteller with years of experience. She spent the first part of her career in TV journalism, with posts in Omaha, Nebraska and Dubuque, Iowa before arriving in Memphis.

Ultimately, WMC Action News 5 brought Lauren and her husband Scott to Memphis, TN. And it was here that Lauren found her passion for telling the stories she does now, as owner and master storyteller for Forever Ready Productions. Lauren’s vision for storytelling is at the heart of every production at Forever Ready.

It’s this background in reporting — where production happens fast and complex human stories are at the center — that gives Forever Ready its unique creative edge. Lauren’s specialty is taking moments of human experience and turning them into dynamic and compelling short videos.

She directed and produced an Emmy award-winning short documentary called “You Must Believe.” The story captures the story of a man who wrote a creed in his prison cell that's changed lives since he got out of jail. It also won Audience Choice at the Indie Memphis Film Festival.

In 2019 Lauren was named Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 for her work in the Memphis community and her mission-driven business.

Lauren is an Iowa native and a graduate of Loras College.

Lauren and Scott live in Midtown Memphis with their son, Max.
