Outcomes have become the holy grail of nonprofits and we spend a lot of time, money, and energy figuring out how to measure them. But ultimately they may be the worst thing that ever happened to us, giving donors all the power, forcing us to assume that we are making a difference all by ourselves, and more. let's think of a way to talk about "changing the narrative," not "achieving outcomes."
