Presentation Overview:
In this event, Chantal Forster will share her approach to developing an AI strategy that aligns with organizational culture and mission. Drawing from her experience as AI Strategy Resident for the Annenberg Foundation and her four-part LinkedIn series on "AI and Organizational Change," Chantal will guide participants through considerations in strategic planning, staffing and structure, technical readiness, and cultural adaptation to ensure responsible AI adoption. The session will emphasize the importance of aligning AI initiatives with an organization's mission, values, and ethical guidelines while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Attendees will also explore emerging trends on AI adoption in the social sector. This event is designed to provide practical insights for navigating AI-driven change in the philanthropic sector.
Speaker Bio:
Chantal Forster
Chantal (Coco) Forster is a nonprofit executive with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of technology and society. She is the co-author of the "Responsible AI Adoption Framework for Philanthropy" and the former Executive Director of the Technology Association of Grantmakers (TAG). Chantal is passionate about using technology as a force for good and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and psychological safety.
Starting her career in predictive AI with SPSS, Chantal's career has come full circle as she now advises philanthropic organizations on the ethical and strategic use of AI. Currently she serves as the AI Strategy Resident for the Annenberg Foundation in Los Angeles, CA.
