Led by President Elizabeth Richter, the firm works with museums, social service agencies, media, theaters, churches and other nonprofits to develop and implement communications strategies.

Impactful Branding
Is your organization effective in conveying its identity and brand through its logo, collateral materials and communications to both internal and external audiences?

The Richter Group led a rebranding initiative for Chicago Child Care Society that involved renaming its preschool and rewriting its promotional materials. The Richter Group worked with Seabury Theological Seminary in Evanston as it redefined its educational mission. Branding, naming, graphic design, web development and communication strategy were developed for the Peoria Riverfront Museum in Peoria, Illinois.

Content Strategy
Do you need fresh strategies to deliver your content and convey your brand more effectively to donors, board, staff, stakeholders and the public?

The Richter Group created a strategic communications plan for the 150th anniversary of The Chicago Academy of Sciences, the parent of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. While on staff at The Chicago Community Trust, Ms. Richter launched the 95th anniversary and countdown to the Trust’s 100th birthday. The Richter Group created an educational media plan for Chicago’s Field Museum.


Research
Do you understand your market environment, your competition, and your brand image so you effectively reach your intended target audiences?

The Richter Group developed a baseline market awareness study for The Chicago Community Trust. Best practices in program development throughout public media were analyzed and a customized a development model was created for Chicago Public Radio. The Richter Group created an in-depth analysis of the children’s television market for Thomson Target Media and The Pleasant Company (American Girl).

Video Production
Are you engaging your audience with video on the web, through broadcast, cable or DVD?

Selected Richter Group custom productions include a 30 minute documentary on the 120-year history of the Friday Club, a 25th anniversary documentary for the Chicago Rehab Network, a fundraising video for the alternative design school Archeworks and an educational video for the Lincoln Park Zoo, detailing plans to restore the water quality of Lincoln Park’s South Pond.
