Speaker Bio
I teach nonprofits and social entrepreneurs how to make a change through branding and marketing. I talk about branding and marketing, things like: finding the “why” in your brand, making genuine connections with your audience, bringing consistency to your outreach and streamlining processes.
Topic 1
Branding 101 for Nonprofits
Topic 1 Description
Does your branding tell your organization’s story? Let’s find out! In this interactive workshop, you will discover the WHO, WHAT and WHY of your organization—and how effective branding can help you make an authentic connection with your audience.
Topic 2
Social Media Marketing for Nonprofits
Topic 2 Description
A collaborative session focused on the who, what and why of social media marketing. We will talk about who you are targeting, what you are sharing, and why it must be relevant to your audience (and social media channel). We will work together to develop a Social Media Mission Statement and discuss resources and tools to streamline and simplify the strategy and planning process.
Topic 3
What’s Branding Got to Do With Content? (Hint: A Lot)
Topic 3 Description
Content marketing can help your organization engage with and build an audience—but only if it’s aligned with your brand story. The who, what, and why of your brand is essential to developing your content strategy—both in messaging and visuals. Discover how to assure that your brand strategy and content strategy are working together. You will learn how to determine if your brand strategy is aligned with your content strategy, how to stay on-brand in content marketing, and creative ideas for branded posts (with examples). Worksheets and resources will be provided.
