Company Profile

Company Overview
Hearts 2 Headlines just launched this year, but my nonprofit consulting journey started 5+ years ago beginning with 1-hour pro bono consultations. It led to retainer clients and some great referrals. Due to the number of clients I worked with all struggling with the same setbacks, I started Hearts 2 Headlines as a way to reach more nonprofits with overlapping branding and marketing concerns and provide the resources and guidance to streamline their process.
In addition, I am on the board of two nonprofits, giving me constant insight into new problems NPOs face and keeping me on top of helpful tools, trends, and processes for nonprofit marketing and operations.

“I’ve worked with Roxy on many design projects with the 3 non-profits that I’m involved with.
Coming from a family of graphic designers and working in the advertising /PR business for the last 40 years I can say Roxy is one of the best designers I have ever worked with.
She always comes up with creative solutions and works with us to achieve our vision and goals.
With one of the non-profits, that was a small start-up she helped us establish new branding colors and designed a new logo, helping to take this non-profit to a new level.
Today this non-profit is growing and Roxy’s fresh creative branding certainly helped us!" - Jeff Cadge, The Cookstove Project

"We have had the pleasure of working with Roxy at HIS Breast Cancer Awareness since 2018. Initially joining us through a volunteer program, Roxy's exceptional creativity and dedication quickly stood out, leading us to hire her. She has consistently delivered outstanding work, from graphics for social media and our website to posts on TikTok and YouTube, always in a timely manner.
Roxy played a pivotal role in creating our new logo and assisting with our website's complete redesign. Her organizational skills and responsiveness make her an invaluable team member. Beyond her technical expertise, Roxy is deeply committed to our mission, helping educate others about the risks of male breast cancer. Working with Roxy has been a true pleasure, and we are grateful for her ongoing contributions to our cause." - Vickie Wolf HIS Breast Cancer Awareness

Topic 1
Colors speak louder than words - How to use the psychology of color to strengthen your business relations.
Topic 1 Description
Did you think about your outfit today? I’m sure you did, but was it for the right reasons? Was it because the color you’re wearing communicates to other people your goals or how you want them to feel while talking to you? If not, you missed out on one of the most easily accessible marketing tools ever. The psychology of colors teaches us we can use colors to influence how people feel without a single word. This is true in branding—such as logos and promotional material—as well as our outfits and how we choose to present ourselves. Everything from the shade of color to the amount of it we wear can create subconscious impressions that boost your chances of getting what you want. Let’s discuss how you can show up for your business better just by what you show up in.

Key takeaways:
- Dress with intention, it’s free marketing!
- Know what emotions your color choices create
- Do your colors have any accessibility concerns for your target audience
- Wear your confidence color; which is likely different than your favorite color
