Event has been Changed!

The Virtual Connecting for Good Coffee Co-hosted with Forefront that was scheduled for May 6 has been changed. In speaking with our Forefront partners, it was decided that we would reinvent this program and turn it into a weekly series called Ask a Consultant. This series will be an interactive, solutions-oriented, virtual office hour with experienced consultants focusing on participants’ questions related to their situations.

Our first session will start on Tuesday, April 28 at 2 pm and will focus on funding. In a matter of a few weeks, a nonprofit's entire annual fund development strategy has changed. Ask our panel of consultants your urgent questions about funding, including the CARES Act, grants, and communicating and nurturing both new and existing donors.

If you are interested in attending this event, please click here to register.

New topics will be offered each week. If you would like to suggest a topic, please share your ideas here.

We look forward to hosting an in-person event with Forefront as soon as we are able to gather safely. In the meantime, we hope to see you soon at one of our virtual programs. As always, please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Once completed, FBRK Impact House will be Chicago’s first innovation-based philanthropy center dedicated to supporting and serving grantmakers, family foundations and impact investors. Forefront will be an anchor tenant alongside The Field Foundation, Pillars Fund, United States Artists, and Woods Fund. This new center for philanthropy will provide Forefront Members with brand-new, state-of-the-art settings for our best-in-class workshops and an upgraded Library to support their research needs. A home for collective action, FBRK Impact House will allow Forefront to expand on what it does best: bringing grantmakers, nonprofits, advisors, and other stakeholders together and build a stronger and more vibrant Illinois.
